Fundraising

There are a number of ways individual players and their families, teams, and the Club as a whole raise money for the costs of Club soccer.

Bingo
By serving as a bingo worker for NVSC on Sunday evenings, credit can be earned toward any soccer expense - Club fees, uniforms, shoes, balls. Each shift runs from 5:15pm to 9:15pm. Each bingo worker earns $30 credit for each shift worked, and a free sandwich or pizza is provided during your shift. In addition to working the Club bingo night on Sunday, you may get an opportunity to work on NYSL nights, which are the first, third and fifth Mondays of each month. Find out all the details, and get signed up to be a bingo worker by calling Bob Yanover at 257-8300 or email bobyanover@sbcglobal.net. Bingo is a fundraising opportunity for the individual player and their family.

Tournament Program
Each summer the Club puts together an informational program for use at Wine County Classic tournaments. Each team is offered the chance to sell ads in the program to raise money for the Club. In return, those teams who meet specified goals (such as selling $600 in ad space) receive a team pizza party or a match ball valued at $75. This is a team fundraising project. Bob Yanover is the contact at 257-8300 or bobyanover@sbcglobal.net.

Car washes, bake sales, etc.
Teams are free to plan and run their own specific fundraisers. The Club Bylaws require each team fundraiser to be approved by the NVSC Board.

Sponsorship
Teams are free to seek out sponsors to cover the costs of equipment, fees, travel and other expenses. Sponsors can be identified on banners, bags, warmups and other items, but cannot be dislayed on the NVSC uniform.
